The Estate

The Estate

The classic cypress driveway leads to La Collina d’Oro, an estate with panoramic views of the rolling hills of Tuscany, Monte Amiata and the Castle of Proceno. The estate is located at the border of Tuscany, Umbria and Tuscia. La Collina d’Oro offers harmony between luxury and nature, with unparalleled privacy and the beauty of nature.

Main House

The main house exudes Italian elegance, harmonious blending traditional rustic elements and modern amenities, to comfortably accommodate families and small groups. The main house embraces open space with a great room and spacious fully equipped kitchen. The contemporary kitchen is made using the finest marble and is fully equipped, facilitating cooking with, and for family and friends. The conservatory houses the dining table overlooking the rolling hills.

The 300-year-old fireplace constitutes the centrepiece of the house. The primary bedroom is situated on the ground floor with an en-suite bathroom.

On the first floor, the east wing consists of the second bedroom, study and private bathroom. The west-wing compromises the third bedroom, with a private bathroom and a tv-area. The first floor gives direct acces to the yoga terrace.

The Annex

The annex comprises one bedroom and a bathroom. The bathroom is equipped for the less mobile with handgrips, while all facilities are on the ground floor. The annex has a charming layout and is fully independent from the main house. The living area has a small kitchen and fireplace and opens to a private terrace. The design of the garden provides complete privacy from the main house, located 50 meters away.

The Pool

The pool (11x5m) and travertine terrace are surrounded by mediterranean landscaping, with breathtaking views of the landscape.

The pergola and sun loungers allow for comfortable seating throughout the day. To rinse off, there is an heated outdoor shower. The pool runs on a chlorination system, with the automatic poolcover (Coverseal) keeping chlorine levels minimized.

The Grounds

The classic cypress driveway leads to the square with a centuries old oak tree that forms the center of the estate. The garden is filled with ancient fruit trees, with the fig trees estimated to be around 200 years old.
The garden includes a marble wood burning barbecue and a picnic table. The grounds are well illuminated from dusk till dawn, and driveway is enclosed by an electric gate. At the border of the garden electric wire is activated automatically after dark, to keep larger animals out.
