A Private Sanctuary
Discreetly positioned at the crossroads of Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio, La Collina d’Oro is a private estate situated between Florence and Rome, moments from the Val d’Orcia. The estate offers unparalleled access to Central Italy’s historic towns and iconic landscapes while remaining entirely secluded, protected from view, disturbance, and the world beyond its gates.
Comprising a main house and separate annex, the design of the estate preserves the authentic Italian architecture, integrated with contemporary design, to create the sense of a true home in the Italian countryside.
Life at La Collina d’Oro follows the rhythms of nature: mornings with soft sunlight and gentle mist, deer moving silently across the landscape and evenings with golden-hued sundowners and family dinners beneath the pergolas.
The estate offers a rare combination of privacy, refinement, and tranquility, surrounded by the understated grandeur of the Italian landscape and providing effortless access to the very best of Central Italy.

La Collina D’oro was a delight to stay in! The whole space – both indoor and outdoor – was elegant, well kept and clean, very well equipped (especially the kitchen) , a perfect balance of luxurious and homey for our family of 3 adults and 1 teenager. Host was helpful with all aspects of activities and responsive. The area is not touristy, charming and perfect location for exploring smaller towns in south Tuscany while convenient drive to larger towns.

We had a lovely stay at La Collina d’Oro. A very private, quiet, peaceful villa in the countryside, surrounded by gorgeous views makes for the perfect escape! The villa is stunning, comfortably furnished, and has everything you need to feel at home. The team was very communicative and truly wonderful with arranging a private chef and offering recommendations throughout our stay. The villa is centrally located for visiting many charming towns in Tuscany, Lazio, and Umbria. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend La Collina d’Oro!

Thank you for your guidance every day and in advance. The anticipation is just as much fun! Nothing is too much. Not only did we enjoy the beautiful interior, wonderfully equipped kitchen, spacious living room, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, annex (you never want to leave) and then the terraces and the beautiful garden! Breathtaking views of the castle in the distance, olive trees, flowers, lavender, terrace around the pool and the breathtaking view: UNESCO World Heritage 360*!!
We have travelled a lot, are used to a lot, but our private concierge on speed dial was the best! We also had some great wine tastings. Too much to mention, with the crowning moment being the Palio in Siena. We left with a heavy heart, family Melles
